Highway Toll Station Membrane Structure Project for Jiaozuo West Toll Station
During the construction planning stage of Jiaozuo West Toll Station, the project team aimed to create a modern and visually distinctive toll station structure.
Unlike traditional heavy steel-clad toll station buildings, the project required a lightweight architectural appearance while still achieving large-span structural coverage and sufficient clearance height for heavy truck traffic.

Large-Span Membrane Structure Design Challenge
One of the main technical challenges of the project was the large-span membrane structure design combined with high-clearance traffic requirements.
To accommodate large commercial vehicles and heavy trucks passing through the toll station, the overall structure height reached approximately 9 meters.
This created extremely high requirements for the structural load-bearing system, wind resistance performance, and long-span stability of the membrane support structure.

The project adopted Q355 seamless steel pipes as the primary load-bearing structural material to ensure high strength, stability, and long-term outdoor durability.
During the fabrication stage, dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and structural alignment were carefully controlled to guarantee smooth on-site installation and reliable membrane tensioning performance.
On-Site Installation
Henan Jingtian completed the on-site installation and membrane structure construction work within 15 days.
Because the project involved large-span elevated structures, the installation process required careful coordination of lifting operations, structural positioning, and membrane tension adjustment.
The installation team strictly followed the engineering sequence and safety standards to ensure construction quality and overall structural stability.
Final Result
